Bad bad mojo. I have a pacemaker to prove it. Stay away. Stay far away!
Phen/fen combination in the 90’s was all the rage. I got on it. I lost about 25 pounds without even trying. But I was down, mopey, tired all the time. I didn’t care because I was finally losing weight without making an effort.
I kept feeling tired, and drained, and worn out though. I didn’t know it at the time but my blood pressure kept dropping and dropping, which was making me tired. Then one day, I woke up. Before I fully arose from the bed, I lost consciousness and passed out, luckily falling back into the bed. I woke up some time later and tried to get up. This time falling out of the bed.
To spare everyone the gorey details, I was rushed to the hospital where I arrived in full cardiac arrest. They zapped me with the paddles to bring me back and I was fitted with my handy dandy pacemaker. (And yes, there really is a bright white light).
Stay away from phentermine. Bad bad mojo.
